FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Acupuncturist Opens Clinic in Bath. Brings Unique Style of Healing to the Community. Promises Real Results.

Bath, Maine June 10, 2015 —

Richard Connell, Licensed Acupuncturist has opened a new clinic in Bath. The newly remodeled office is in the Halcyon Yarn building, just off of the elevator on the second floor. Richard is very happy to be providing his unique services to Bath, Brunswick and all of Midcoast Maine.

“I am happy to bring my particular style of acupuncture to the area. My treatments are very results oriented and, as much as possible, are based upon the most current research available to provide the fastest and most effective healing possible through acupuncture and related modalities. I know that people in Maine are very practical. We appreciate honesty and won’t be fooled by fluff, woo-woo and broken promises. People need real results – results that they can feel fast, results that last. I get results like that with my patients.” says Richard Connell.

Richard’s website midcoastacupuncture.com has a section devoted to posting reports from the latest acupuncture research studies and other acupuncture information that he hopes the community will find interesting and helpful.

Richard Connell is a Licensed Acupuncturist who uses acupuncture to successfully treat a wide range of health disorders, acute and chronic pain being the most prominent. Richard’s success with acupuncture can be attributed to several factors. His training, research and experience includes tens of thousands of hours of specialized acupuncture and related techniques proven to eliminate pain. He also takes extra steps to ensure that the acupuncture treatment itself doesn’t contribute to any pain a patient may be experiencing. Richard Connell uses extremely thin acupuncture needles, even by acupuncture standards, making his acupuncture treatments virtually painless. In many instances, pain relief and increased range of motion are immediate. Many patients report a euphoric sensation during his acupuncture treatments.

“It seems that people find me after they have tried almost everything else. Nothing has helped or worked as well as they hoped or they didn’t like the answers they received from other healthcare providers. Maybe they didn’t like the drugs or painkillers they were prescribed. These are the cases that I thrive on. I love the challenge and am usually up to it. It is extremely gratifying to me to be able to help people with health problems that they thought were beyond help or that they feared they just had to live with.” says Richard.

Richard A. Connell earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine in Orono. After 13 years in New Mexico and practicing as a licensed primary care physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine he and his wife Megan, also a talented Massage Therapist, returned back east to Bath, Maine to be closer to family and friends. Richard’s parents still live in Bath. Richard is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Maine. He is nationally board certified (NCCAOM Diplomat status) in Oriental Medicine. He has many years of experience successfully treating many common and complex health issues with Acupuncture and related techniques.

Prior to practicing acupuncture, Richard Connell practiced Eastern Medical Massage and Asian Bodywork. Richard graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, WI with a specialty in Asian Bodywork and Eastern Medical Massage. He also attended The Wat Po Traditional Medical School in Bangkok, Thailand, where he earned his Certification in Traditional Thai Massage. He also earned a yoga instructors certificate after intensive study in Rishikesh, India. He received his graduate Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine training and medical degree at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM, where he subsequently was an Associate Professor, teaching specialized and advanced acupuncture and manual therapy techniques. Richard Connell’s patients appreciate his ability to effectively and compassionately treat their health issues, while achieving lasting results.

“I achieve the fastest, most thorough, and longest lasting results for each patient by combining all of my unique knowledge and skills into a very effective treatment.” says Richard.

Richard Connell’s office provides acupuncture, manual therapy and massage therapy in Bath, Maine. He keeps up with current research and utilizes the best and most appropriate techniques from Acupuncture, Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Massage for the safe, natural and effective treatment and rehabilitation from pain, allergies, headaches, digestion problems and much, much more.

“I am grateful and proud to have the experience, ability and knowledge to effectively and compassionately treat a wide range of common and complex health issues using proven natural means while achieving lasting results. I am so happy to bring these skills to Bath to help people in the surrounding community.” says Richard.
